Persecuted, But Not Beaten.

    I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD almighty. Salmos 7:17.

  Joseph was sold for 20 pieces of silver to the Ishmaelites who took him to Egypt. This happened because of envy of his brothers saw that their father loved Joseph more than them.


If we look at what happened to Joseph, we see that their brothers did it by sheer envy and lack of discernment. The heart is in the world is so. Can not you see that is hurting him and I close the case of Joseph, he was close to his brothers. Only one did not want his death. But did not like him.

 

God was with Joseph So much thanks to the Lord's love toward Joseph, Egypt became prosperous. But evil, not satisfied, the wife of Pharaoh wore to seduce him. Joseph did not fall into temptation and fled from that woman, only the trap of the devil, his clothes were and he was arrested.

 

Even evil arming against Joseph, God was with him: But the LORD was with Joseph and extended his mercy upon him, and gave him favor in the eyes of the chief jailer. Genesis 39:21. God has transformed and changed the fate of Joseph because he was faithful to God. even within the prison, he spent taking care of the butler and the baker because Pharaoh was outraged when he learned that Joseph was taking care of them and they liked Jose and the God he served:

And Pharaoh was wroth, much against his two officers, against the chief butler and against the chief baker.

And he delivered them to prison, the house of the captain of the guard in the prison, the place where Joseph was bound. Genesis 40:2,3.


Both Joseph interpreted the dreams of the butler and the baker and asked that they remember him when they were before Pharaoh. This reminds me that no one should trust, since our life is in the hands of the Lord, only the providence Deus.Ele even our 'out of the wilderness'. Joseph when he made the request of remembrance, I wanted to do his will. He wanted to get out of prison, only that the One was that he could ask the Lord.


So after two years, Pharaoh had a dream and nothing could interpret. The only one who could interpret it was Joseph and he sent it and Joseph appeared before Pharaoh and said, "And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, This is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace. Genesis 41:16.


Pharaoh had a dream interpreted. That dream was famine and drought in Egypt for seven years. Would be seven years of plenty and seven more with hunger. And only one person with the Spirit of God, could not let his people starve and store food during the time of drought. By faithfulness of Joseph, so did the Lord:

And Pharaoh said to his servants, Can we find such a man in whom the spirit of God?

Pharaoh said to Joseph, Since God hath showed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as you.

Thou shalt be over my house, and your mouth will rule all my people, only in the throne I am greater than thou.

Pharaoh said to Joseph: Behold I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.

And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and after Joseph's hand, and arrayed him in garments of fine linen, and put a gold necklace around your neck.

And he did get on the second car I had, and they cried before him, Bow the knee. So put on all the land of Egypt.

And Pharaoh said to Joseph: I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or his foot in all the land of Egypt. Genesis 41: 38,39,40,41,42,43,44.


With this, other people came to Joseph to buy because of drought. Intelligence that God gave to Joseph because Joseph had a pure heart, and upright and eschewed evil. Until Joseph's brothers as far as Egypt to fetch groceries and Joseph came to them wanting to prove they brought the younger brother and kept the older, as a guarantee of return. Joseph recognized them, but they did not recognize his own brother.


Left the brother and returned home with the groceries and money and did not understand anything. Just the food, returned to Egypt with her younger brother and with the money back. Arrived there, were sent to the house of Joseph arrived there, they took the money back from grocery shopping earlier and more purchasing now. Joseph met his younger brother and had a meal together.


The brothers returned and he said who he was. Everyone was amazed and embraced at the end and the news reached Pharaoh. Even Pharaoh liked the idea of Joseph to leave his family near him. Joseph forgave his brothers by injustice and jealousy that had it. Joseph almost died because of that and still kept faith in the Lord and heart clean. God is no respecter of pessoas.Cabe us pray for those who persecute us and hate us. We maintain a clean heart and please God.
